  • Lyric installation question

    Hi
I recently bought a Martin OM-28 and got the store to install a Lyric mic. It sounds thin and hollow and I can't get a useful sound from it. I have tried adjusting the precence control without any luck. From looking inside, I can see the mic is mounted next to the bridge pins on the end pin side. Is this right? I got the impresssion it should be on the side facing the sound hole. Or does it really matter? I hope someone can enlighten me.

    Thanks,
    Tommy

If you want to email me at [email protected], I can help you with some ideas on mic placement. Hopefully, we can get your Lyric dialed in.
