Atypical installation of tru-mic pickup

I want to install an Anthem SL in my acoustic. Unfortunately, It had K & K pickups superglued under the bridge and unremovable. Is it worth trying to install the tru-mic under the top as close as possible to the bridge?

The Anthem mic is pretty forgiving as far as placement goes. What guitar do you want to put it in?

There are instructions online that show you how to remove the K&K or other similar types of pickups. I've done it. Do a search for "removing k&k"
