Anthem Preamp placement

Hi all, newbie here!

I’m wanting to install my Anthem into my Seagull cutaway acoustic. The only problem is I have two braces in the way of the standard position of the pre amp. It fits perfectly on the opposite side (which is on the treble side of the sound hole). Can I do it like this or is this a big no no?

Thanks for posting.

The Anthem preamp should work fine being mounted on the opposite side of the soundhole. Of course, it will change how you access the controls, but functionally, it should work fine. I've done that on left-handed guitars a few times without any issues.
