Anyone have this issue? The b-string totally disappears. I do have a low saddle and I need to have it looked at as that string might not have contact. But when I switch to the mic, it still does this.

Thanks for posting.
The undersaddle pickup carries all of the bass frequencies, up to 250Hz, even when the mic is blended in. Since the B string is about 247Hz, it's still going to be carried by the undersaddle pickup. So if you have a contact issue with the saddle, which it sounds like you do, the B string isn't going to come through at any setting.
If you have the saddle bottom leveled and fitted properly, that should make a big difference in the string balance.
