Anthem / Blending dial opposite of what it should be

I recently had an Anthem pickup installed in my Martin D-41. It doesn’t seem to have much sound coming from the Element pickup as it does compared to my other guitars that have this system installed. When I roll the blending dial towards the bridge it increases the mix of the microphone and sounds very tinny. Isn’t it supposed to increase the blend of the element when turned this way? If so, any ideas why this is happening?
