Anthem install on long saddle?

I'm planning on installing an Anthem in my Martin HD28V. Can I run the Element pickup the entire length of the saddle slot? Or is there a special way to install under a long saddle like this?

I have two Anthems installed in Martins with the newer style "drop in" long saddle. They work great. I think this is easier than older Martins with the glued in through saddle.
