Anthem Tru-Mic/Element Sounds Raspy and Woofy ... not really what I expected

Hello Caleb I purchased and had pro installed in a Gibson Hummingbird Artist the Anthem... does not sound at all like the guitar. I sent it back to the installer and he said the mic was in the correct spot etc. I adjusted the mic and that really did not solve the problem. It seems to be a bit better when the channel volume on the mixer is low, with the mixer volume on high. If I play it straight through my bose without a mixer it sounds mediocre at best. Bluntly, I have a J200 with a k&k and a Taylor with es2... the Anthem is not even in the same league. What can I do to make this work?

For anyone reading, this issue is being worked out over email. Right now it looks like there may actually be an issue with either the Anthem mic or with the installation in the guitar.
