Two weeks ago I bought my third LR Baggs Anthem from Sunrise guitars in Fayetteville AR, and had my guitar tech at Guitar Center install it. Everything works fine except the piezo pickup. When I turn the nob over to the piezo I get no sound at all. The volume switch, tru mic, and battery sensor all are working and plugged into the Anthem control system correctly.

When you mix over toward the mic, are you getting a full sound? Or is it thin sounding?

      Hi
I have same problem with my Mayson guitar and Anthem.
A couple of month ago the sound was great - mic + low end piezo works good - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVZ9Slgr7GQ
But now I have problem - no sound from piezo at all, when I turn mix knob toward the bridge the sound just getting more quiet without any piezo at all - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC90mGaUPfo
When I'm touching piezo there's boomy sound but no string sound...
So what can I do with my piezo?

        Hey ttema,
Have you turned up the Mic Level control since recording the first clip? (the small screwdriver control)

The sound in the second clip does sound brighter/thinner, but it doesn't sound like the Piezo isn't working. If you roll the Mix wheel all the way over to the bridge side, are you still getting some signal? Or nothing at all?

Let me know and I will do what I can to help. Also, if you want to email me directly at [email protected], I can answer you more quickly.

          Hi,
I have the same problem that after installing the Anthem system in a Martin GPC, the Micro fine works fine, but when I set the fader to Piezo, no sound can be heard. Since a Piezo was already installed, the bridge should be correctly processed. If I remove the saddle and connect the guitar (to Bose LE1) you can hear the micro, if I knock the Piezo you don't hear any signal. Seems as if the Piezo unit is defective?
Do you have any idea what else I could try?

If that is the case, it sounds like there is an issue with the Piezo pickup. If you want to send your purchase details to me at [email protected], I will see what I can do to help.
