Hello Caleb, Where can I purchase the M1C3 cable? Can the M1a be used passively if battery is removed? Thanks John

Unfortunately, the M1A cannot be used without a battery, so it's not compatible with the iMix in the same way as the M1 Passive.

We actually don't have parts to make the M1C3 right now, so I recommend just going on Amazon or somewhere else online and getting a short 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable. It won't have the capacitor built into it, but honestly, it's a pretty minimal difference between the M1C3 and a normal cable.

Hey jp,
No, there's no problem with that. That is actually a fairly common alternate configuration for the iMix. We make a special cable called the M1C3 that has a resistor and capacitor built in to help with impedance matching. I've also done it with a regular cable, and that works fine too.

Hello, I've got an instrument equipped with an older "barn door" style iMix (iBeam/Element.) Would there be any issues substituting a M1 for the undersaddle Element, and just blending between that and the iBeam?
