    Hi,

the new Lb6 works like a charm! I had to drill a new hole for the cable, because the position has changed. But now, it sounds like new!

    Hey bklbkl,
If the pickup is clicking when you press down on it, the saddle might not be seated completely flat in the slot, which would cause a string balance issue. If you can't get the saddle to sit flat, you may be able to use a piece of tape (electrical or Scotch) under the quiet string to bridge the gap a bit. In many cases, a small layer of tape or something similar will make up for the loss of contact and fix the balance issue. If not, the LB6 design had not changed, so a newer pickup would work just fine with the older electronics in that guitar.

    Repair LB6 possible

    Hi,

I have an early Godin Acousticaster. The LB6 pickup seems to be broken. The light e-string is much less loud than the b-string. Pressing down the saddle inlay at the e-string makes a clicking sound and the pickup is working. Is there a way to fix this? Will the current LB6 fit as a spare part?
