Can someone check to see if placement is ok?

Hey guys brand new here. I have a 2022 Gibson 1942 j45 reissue. At first there was a k&k ( I guess you can see where it was removed) does it look damaged? I’m new to electronic btw.. I couldn’t get use to the k&k so I had my shop install a lyric. Does the installation look right to you guys? Seems to hang over bridge plate. I know there isn’t much room… please let me know what you guys think. I’ll be playing plugged in this Sunday for the first time. Thanks!

The Lyric is a PZM mic, so it's going to work best when mounted on a flat surface. If the mic is overhanging the edge of the plate, you'll likey get some unwanted overtones.

I would suggest remounting the mic off of the plate, closer to the X-bracing. It looks like there's enough space to fit the mic without touching the bracing or the bridgeplate.
