Align Session Placement

Hi,

Been upgrading my acoustic rig so I have purchased an Grace Designs Alix preamp, paired that with an Align Reverb and sounds great. After doing a bit more research a lot of people suggested to get the Align Session. I went with that but so far havnt been able to find a setting that I really gel with. I have been placing it before the preamp but am thinking that maybe it should be in the effects loop. Any advice on placement?

I prefer the Session early on in the signal chain. You can try it in the FX Loop too. It should work just fine in either position.

If you aren't getting a sound you like, try a lower Gain setting on the pedal. That usually helps for me.
