Sessions di problem

I just bought a session di and it just makes a crackling sound and won't shut off when guitar is unplugged

Thanks for posting.

Are you running the DI on phantom power (green "on" light), battery power, or wall power?

Also, are you getting a regular signal? Or is it only crackling?
