Low input gain

I've noticed the same thing; playing (with pick) my Anthem barely moves the input meter on the Voiceprint DI. But never the less the sound is fab using the VPDI and all it's internal magic.

When fingerpicking my Anthem pickup barely moves the input meter on the session DI. Therefore there is not much of an effect. Any help would be much appreciated.
