White noise with my Venue DI

Hello,

I've been having white noise though my Venue DI. I bought it about a year ago.

I'm playing through a Schatten Piezo.

Here's what i did without erasing the white noise
-Tried it with another instrument
-Change battery
-Try with a jack or an XLR with differents wires

Still, i'm getting a white noise. I'm 100% that it's the Venue DI.

Hey Josh,
Thanks for posting.

White noise is pretty abnormal for the Venue DI. I would have thought that the power supply might be bad, but a battery would rule that out.

Does turning the gain on the Venue up and down affect the noise level?

If you press the mute does the noise go away?

If you use the XLR output does the Ground/Lift switch make any difference?
