  • Venue DI - stereo

Just a Venue long-time user suggestion. It would be great if there is a model with the option to use stereo effects in the loop. I understand that normally it is released by using two amps, but since we are talking about completely isolated system and the XLR out sends it directly to the mixer, it would be great to have a stereo option right onboard. For example, I have stereo chorus, delay and reverb pedals, which would be nice to use in stereo but still to have them in the loop. What do you guys think?

It seems like it wouldn't sound much different unless you had a stereo output from the DI. If you ran the effects in stereo, they would ultimately be summed back down to mono at the DI, which would (or should) sound about the same as running them in mono the whole time.

I guess it depends on how each effect is designed and how the pedals interact.

Stereo effects loops are usually much more common on mixers since you are going out to stereo speakers.

That is the idea, to have stereo out. As it shows at the picture, the idea is to have two XLR outputs also, to allow to deliver it in stereo.

        I missed that somehow.

Yes, that would be a cool product for those players that would use the more specialized features.
