The tuner does have a time-out function that is designed o save the battery. So it will turn off after about a minute, until you disengage, wait 2-3 seconds, and then re-engage it. That is completely normal.

What is not normal is to have those lower LEDs on all the time. That looks to me like something is not working correctly. If you want to get in touch with me directly at [email protected], I will see what I can do to help you out with this.
Thank you for the quick response. I am aware of the timeout function, which is why I added the follow-up video--to demonstrate that the issue seems unrelated to the power saving features. The green lights are indeed confounding. I will definitely reach out via email. Thanks again!

This is a video of the issue. After adjusting the gain I was able to use the tuner for about 45 seconds, but the display totally froze on the B string and I had to disengage and reengage the Tuner to get the display to clear. The video shows what happens 99% of the time I use the tuner.

started a topic Venue DI Tuner Issues

    Venue DI Tuner Issues

I’m having significant trouble with the tuner function on my brand new Venue. Regardless of cables used, guitars used, gain settings, etc., the tuner works maybe 1% of the time, and when it does function, it is for less than a minute before it ceases entirely.

When I click to engage the tuner, the green ring flashes and then the three bottom green LEDs stay illuminated, but nothing happens. It does not register that I am even plucking a string, though it is obviously getting signal because the clip meter is showing movement. The di itself functions wonderfully, the tone is phenomenal, but a large reason I spent the $300 on this DI was for the onboard tuner function, as my Martin does not have an onboard tuner and I play live regularly.

This is an incredibly frustrating issue and I have not been able to find any solutions for anywhere online, so I’m desperately hoping someone here can give me insight before I’m forced to return this brand new venue.
