Hi I 'd like to know if it is possible to use voiceprint with Spider resonator guitar and five strings banjo. Did someone try to do it ?

It's been done, and from what I've been told, with great results. Some Baggs artists in Nashville tried an early VPDI prototype and they loved it. They took some time messing with different mic placements, but they liked their results the most when the reso was mic'd about 8" from the treble side of the cone. Their preferred placement varied a bit between instruments though.
