One feature I miss from the Venue DI is the Boost foot switch.
It’s simple enough to program adjacent presets with alternating gain levels, cycling through with the Next foot switch, but gigs that require multiple guitars complicate that idea. I’ve got a workaround inserting my Keeley Katana clean boost in the VPDI effects loop, but it would be convenient to have a means of activating the previous preset with the foot switch.
Audio Sprockets has done that with a firmware update to their Tone Dexter.
