I heard Lloyd mention in an interview that he had produced some excellent voiceprints with the LB6, but it took some time and work. Can you tell me what his strategy that worked well? BTW, I'm familiar with the out-of-phase G and B string issue.

I don't know that Lloyd did anything special in his VP creation process. He likes to use multiple mic placements using the Advance VP creation process, so that is probably how he did things with the LB6.
He usually does one placement around the 12th fret with light strumming and picking, and then he'll stop the recording and do another one with the phone over the bridge.
