I-Beam active on 12 string

I installed IBeam active on my 1970 Guild 212 and it sounds like ass. Great sounding guitar, very clear but through the pickup it is too jangly and confused. Considering adding a magnetic to taking out I-Beam entirely. I would like to hear what others have had good luck with on a 12 strIng.

I like the Anthem SL for 12-string. The iBeam can work well, but it really depends on the individual instrument. It isn't as consistent sounding as the SL from guitar to guitar.
