Element Pickup... the B and high E strings are a lot louder than the rest.

I have a McPherson Sable that has the Element installed from the factory. There is only a volume control. The B and the high E strings are a lot louder than the rest of the strings which really creates and unpleasant tone. I've had several guitars with the Element installed and never had this issue. I'd prefer to not have to add a pedal to correct the situation. I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give.

Hey Jeff,
I replied to the email you sent in a little while ago. It sounds like there's a saddle/string balance issue that needs to be addressed in the installation. It should be relatively easy for a local repair shop to go over and fix.
