My VPDI recently started to make a faint click when changing from one preset to the next (both when using the footswitch or the preset selector on the iOS app) and then is silences the output. This happens if I'm using either the XLR or 1/4" output. If I cycle the power (by disconnecting the power cord) the output returns as normal for the new preset. Is this something that can be corrected with a firmware upgrade/reinstall or does it sound like a hardware issue? Not a big problem for home use but not something I look forward to doing often at a gig... Thanks!

Is there a specific preset that is killing the output when selected? Or does it happen any time you change presets? -
Any time I change a preset. I have about 6 or 7- doesn't matter which one I'm starting on. Thanks!Comment

I've only ever seen that when a single preset is corrupted, which I haven't seen in probably a year or more since we released a fix for that.
It might be necessary to back up your presets to your phone (via the settings menu) and do a hard reset on the pedal.Comment

Thanks again Caleb- I performed the factory reset and reloaded my saved presets and everything is back to normal. I had to do a bit of searching through this forum to find the reset procedure- it would be great to put together a FAQ sheet and/or video for some of these more advanced troubleshooting procedures that aren't covered in the manual. I realize some are more "last-resort" than others but it would be helpful to have this info in a central location. Either way- thanks again!!!Comment
