  • Multiband compression included with Voiceprint?

Does the Voiceprint include the multiband compression from the Session DI? If not, would the Session DI work well with the Voiceprint … or is there any need for it?

The Session DI will work great with the Voiceprint DI. The Saturation and Multi-Band compression always help to beef up the signal just a little bit more.

The AcousticLive app is also set to get an in-app purchase option soon that will allow people to get additional features, including a Multi-Band compressor, for a one-time fee. This Pro Toolkit will have a number of advanced tools that will help "pro" users get the most from their Voiceprints.

This sounds great. Is the multi-band compression similar or same to the multi-band compression that’s in the Session, where it affects specific frequencies tuned for acoustic guitars? Or does to function like a traditional compression where it affects the whole signal?

It's a multi-band compression like the Session DI, but each band is fully adjustable so you can customize it for your instrument. Hopefully, we will get some presets built in eventually to make it even easier to use.

I have the Session pedal and it works great with Vp.
