  • # Feature Request: Tweaks to the EQ Adjustment Sliders

Hi, having the 5 band parametric EQ on the app (with no noticeable latency) has been a game changer. You guys have brought the ease of EQing that's typically reserved to software on my computer and brought it to my acoustic guitar rig. Thank you thank you. It's actually causing me to understand how to EQ an acoustic more. The layout is very helpful.

Though I appreciate the complete reset button in the custom EQ window, it would be great if there's a "redo last change" and "undo redo" button as well so we can quickly compare changes that we make.

Also, I appreciate that we can type in the exact number that we want applied to an EQ setting. This might be preferential but it would be helpful if there's a function where we can tap the bar on the + or - side to do incremental changes (i.e. +/- 0.1 or whatever you guys feel makes more sense). Currently, it's set to wherever we click on the bar, it goes to. The issue I've been having is it's quite difficult to make fine tune changes on an iPhone. A lot of times, I accidentally tap the bar and it changes the EQ drastically. I can always go in and type in the number that I want but it adds friction to the EQ process because I have to go through a few steps just to change something, say, by 0.3. If I want to make a major change, I can still just grab the slider and move.

My aforementioned point is a function that Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop utilizes on the phone since it's a bit harder to make incremental change on a mobile device compared to a keyboard/mouse.

Hope that makes sense. Keep up the great work!

I like the idea of the + and - incremental adjustments. I will definitely bring that up with our design team.

As for the "undo last step" idea, that is actually something that has been brought up before. Unfortunately, to implement it we would need to keep a "memory" of the previous steps, which has some limitations from what I have been told. I can still mention it though. We really want this to be the best that it can be, so user feedback is highly valuable.

With the iphone in the EQ "tab", if you rotate it 90 deg you get a full screen EQ view, makes it a bit easier to fine tune each slider.
