  • Power supply question

Sorry to ask possibly a possibly dumb question but would something like the Strymon Ojai power supply be able to power the Voiceprint?. It has 500mA per output.

    Hey Emmertine,
Yes, the Ojai should work great! Each output is rated at 500mA and 9V, so there shouldn't be any issues using it with the VPDI.

I have learned that the power supply cord that came with my VP works best. The VP should be powered separately and not connected through a daisy chain with my other pedals. When I try to power them all together I get a high pitch sound. When powered separately no background sound.

I'm using an MXR iso-brick with a current doubler adapter -- i found that it works well AS LONG AS you don't double from two supplies that are next to each other. they need be be from different place and be more than 550 mA otherwise it will power off and on and lose the bluetooth.
