  • No pickup input when tapping (Step 1) during VoicePrint creation

I checked the levels for mic and pickup prior to starting the VoicePrint Creation process, All steps beside Step 1 register a good signal on both mic and pickup. I was not able to get any signal on the pickup when tapping which seems just weird.

    Any advise.

        Ok,
Some undersaddle pickups won't be as sensitive to body noise on the guitar top or bridge. So that isn't really abnormal.

The VU is mostly there to make sure that you don't clip. In the Voiceprint creation, a quiet signal isn't usually a problem. Clipping can cause all kinds of weird artifacts in the sound.

        You should be fine.

Thanks for looking into it for me. Still making adjustments to EQ and dry/voiceprint mix to get the tone I want for strumming. Then on to a fingerpick preset.
