  • Bluetooth not connecting


    New user here. I am trying to connect my Voiceprint DI to the app for the first time. My bluetooth connection works fine on all other devices (ear buds, wireless speakers, etc.) but it's not detecting the VPDI pedal. Also curious (maybe) is that the pairing code it gives me when I press the voice button is "0000". Makes me wonder if something is amiss with the pedal.

    I have watched the pairing/unpairing videos several times. And I have confirmed that Bluetooth is enabled on my phone, and enabled for the app.

    Hey Josh,
    Thanks for posting.

    I would try pressing and holding the Voice and Pad for three seconds to reset the Bluetooth code. Unlike un-pairing and re-pairing, this should just reset the code, which sounds like it's what you need.

    Try it out and let me know how it goes.

      Thanks, Caleb. That worked! Now another question... I read on this forum that there's a firmware update for the VPDI bluetooth. Should I download that? If so, what's the process? I haven't found any step-by-step instructions for VPDI firmware updates.

        There was a Bluetooth update available in the settings, but depending on when you bought the DI, it may have already been installed from the factory. The current firmware version is still 1.0.
