No signal

I'm trying to get the VoicePrint up and running but I'm running into a problem when I go to preview the Voiceprint I create.There is no guitar sound coming from my amp. I have my Fishman loud box mini connected to the voice print output, and I have a PA speaker connected to the XLR out. I get a constant hum as an output from the pedal, to either my Fishman amp or a PA speaker. If I turn up the volume from the pedal, I get more hiss and hum, but no acoustic guitar sound! I know the guitar pickup and my 1/4 cables are good. Help!

Update: after turning up the Voiceprint ALL THE WAY I have an acoustic guitar sound. I also have way too much hiss/him and not enough signal. Guess I need to make some more Voiceprints? Think I will have more luck if I do this in a super quiet room?

What kind of pickup are you using to make your Voiceprints right now?
