generally speaking a compressor is "first" in the signal chain, would you put a compressor before or after the voiceprint? also, Caleb, i think you've said that you don't use the eft send and return does that mean you run all effects before the VP? and what is the benefit of that? thanks, kvn

The VPDI should always be first in the signal chain in order for the Voiceprint to be reproduced correctly. Even a compressor should be used in the FX loop or after the 1/4" output of the VPDI.
My most recent setup has had the VPDI first, then the 1/4" output into a few other effects, and then the Session DI last in the chain. If I didn't have the Session or another DI, I would be running the other pedals in the FX Loop.
